The 'God of Songs' Jacky Cheung’s '60+' tour lasted two years and seven months, totaling 324 shows, and recently concluded successfully at the Hong Kong Coliseum. Facing 'unemployment,' he expressed having mixed and indescribable feelings. On the 30th, Universal Music shared on social media Jacky Cheung’s true feelings about being 'unemployed for six days.'
Through his record company, Jacky Cheung conveyed his feelings and greeted all the team members and fans involved in the tour: “Dear 60+ concert team members and audience and fans from all over the world, all places, all cities, how are you?” Jacky Cheung mentioned that today is the sixth day after the tour ended, and upon waking up in his home, he truly realized that the concert had come to a close.
Jacky Cheung said: “I still had the illusion that I could see everyone again in just a week. Two years and seven months had become a habit, and accepting the fact that the tour has ended, it will take a little time to adapt. It was only today that I realized I never really said goodbye to everyone. I hope that from now on, every day for everyone will be healthy, happy, smooth, and satisfying!”
He recalled this beautiful period: “During the more than 120 weeks of the 60+ tour, I was given a beautiful, beautiful dream. In that dream, I was needed, loved, cherished in everyone’s hands, free to search, to try, to do what I loved most—singing and performing. Thank you all for your support and affection! Dreams eventually end, I understand!”
Jacky Cheung also mentioned that he is actively engaging in life and work, and has begun building his next dream. He also reiterated a phrase he often used at concerts: “I hope everyone lives well, and every day is healthy and happy!” Emphasizing that this is his most sincere wish for his fans, “May my wishes all come true!” In the end, Jacky Cheung sent a message to his fans: “Goodbye, dear friends, our next meeting won’t be too far away! I miss you all, I love you all!”
