The Straits Tourism Exchange Association Taipei Office (Haolv Association Taipei Office), in cooperation with the National Museum of China, made an appearance at the 2025 Taipei Summer Travel Expo on the 18th, launching for the first time on the island a museum-inspired line of cultural and creative products represented by the “Phoenix Crown Fridge Magnet.” The event attracted numerous citizens to experience the unique charm of “cultural creativity + tourism.”
The “Phoenix Crown Fridge Magnet” is modeled after the Nine Dragons and Nine Phoenixes Crown unearthed from the underground palace of Dingling Tomb in the Ming Tombs in Beijing, worn by Empress Xiaoduan, and is one of the first batch of national treasures prohibited from being exhibited abroad. The design of the fridge magnet breaks through traditional one-piece, flat craftsmanship, employing extensive handcrafting to preserve the exquisite details of the original artifact.
The “Travel with Cultural Creativity” thematic exhibition area features 24 booths, blending wooden lattice and geometric lines to showcase the fusion of Chinese classical and modern aesthetics. On display are more than 40 cultural and creative products across seven major themes, including the “National Museum Artistry” Empress Phoenix Crown Series, Sea and River Purity Series, and Peach Blossom Cave Series. The “National Museum Delicacies” photo exhibition showcases creative foods such as Phoenix Crown coffee, cakes, ice cream, and lollipops, attracting many visitors to stop and admire.
The Haolv Association Taipei Office stated that museum cultural and creative products “revive” static artifacts, reinterpreting outstanding traditional Chinese culture in vivid, lively, and interesting ways so tourists can see, touch, and take them home, becoming a new trend in cultural tourism.
