13-Year-Old Egyptian Boy Kills Classmate Out of 'Curiosity', Also Eats Part of the Corpse

A shocking murder case recently occurred in Egypt's Ismailia Governorate: a 13-year-old boy named Youssef killed his classmate Mohammed out of 'curiosity' and, after dismembering the body, consumed part of it. According to Youssef's confession to the police, his actions were influenced by murder scenes in movies and online games—he wanted to 'try' what he had seen on the internet.

According to foreign media 'Daily Express', on the day of the incident, Youssef lured Mohammed to his home and then repeatedly attacked his head with a wooden stick until Mohammed died. After the police discovered parts of the corpse near a shopping mall, they immediately launched an investigation, later finding more dismembered body parts under a bridge, in a pond, and in open areas around the city. Youssef confessed that he first killed Mohammed with a wooden stick, then used an electric saw to dismember the body, and scattered the remains at various locations across the city.

Youssef also revealed that, out of 'curiosity', he ate parts of Mohammed's body and described the taste as 'similar to fried chicken'. After detaining him, the police required Youssef to reenact the crime, leading investigators to all the locations where he had disposed of body parts for further evidence collection.

After being detained by the prosecutor's office for four days, Youssef was transferred to a juvenile correctional facility, where he stayed for one week while awaiting trial before a judge. Meanwhile, Youssef underwent a complete physical examination, drug testing, and forensic analysis to compare samples with Mohammed's DNA. Investigators are also continuing to probe whether the violent content in the movies and online games Youssef mentioned had any influence on this horrific incident.
