On the 1st, US Ambassador to Israel Herkabe posted on social media platform X, suggesting that perhaps B-2 bombers should be sent to attack Yemen’s “Ansar Allah” (Houthis).
He said: “We thought the missile attacks on Israel were over, but ‘Ansar Allah’ has just launched another missile at Israel.”
He stated that Israel’s powerful interception systems allow people to hide in shelters and wait until everything returns to normal.
He ended with a threat, saying, “Maybe those B-2 bombers should take a trip to Yemen!”
'Ansar Allah' strikes Israeli airport and other targets
On the 1st, Yemen’s “Ansar Allah” (Houthis) announced that they had launched a ballistic missile and three drones at Israel, striking four targets including Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion Airport.
Ansar Allah spokesperson Saree made a statement via Al-Masirah TV, saying the group “will continue supportive military operations” to oppose Israel’s “genocidal crimes” in Gaza, until Israel “ends its aggression and lifts the blockade on Gaza.”
According to The Times of Israel, air raid sirens sounded in many areas across Israel that day, and the Israeli Air Force intercepted a missile launched from Yemen.
