(Miri, 26th) Miri Chung Hua Middle School Board Chairperson Tan Sri Dato Paduka Tsai Yeo Lan stated that the Miri Chung Hua Middle School Cultural Gala is not just a performance, but also an emotional convergence that transcends time, showcasing the deep and lasting connection between the school and the Chinese community.

She made these remarks last night during her speech at the opening ceremony of the 2026 Cultural Gala held in the school hall, accompanied by Board Secretary Chen Lidai.

She pointed out that this year marks the 29th anniversary of the Cultural Gala, with the theme "Carrying the Aspiration of Nine Veins, Illuminating the People of Miri Chung Hua," which has profound meaning. The "Nine Veins" symbolize the spiritual roots and guardianship left by the nine major clans, while "Illumination" represents the responsibility and direction of students in the new era, embodying the future born at the intersection of inheritance and the times.

She said that since the school's founding, its development has relied on the long-term support and care of the nine major clans and the Chinese community. This is not only assistance in terms of resources, but also a firm belief and trust in education.
