(Seria, 28th) A serious accident was reported this morning on Lumut Highway, where two cars collided violently, causing one of them to overturn and resulting in the immediate death of a male victim. Details of the incident are still under investigation.
The accident occurred at the intersection of the main section of the Lumut army camp highway. According to reports, one of the cars, a white sedan, suffered severe frontal damage, with the front bumper detached and the front end badly crushed; the other car had completely overturned with all four wheels facing upwards and its undercarriage exposed, with parts of its structure twisted and rear-end debris scattered all over the ground.
The accident took place near the grassy divider at the exit of a curve in the road.
Upon receiving reports, rescue personnel and law enforcement rushed to the scene, sealed off part of the lanes, and assisted in the cleanup and investigation efforts.
Relevant authorities have also urged drivers to stay alert and strictly follow traffic rules, especially to reduce speeds and proceed with caution at curves and intersections, in order to prevent accidents.
