3 Students Attend Science Genius Student Camp in Korea

(Bandar Seri Begawan, 17th) Three local students and two officials departed for Seoul National University of Education in South Korea yesterday to participate in the 14th ASEAN+3 Science Genius Student Camp (ACGS) and the 16th ASEAN+3 Science Genius Teacher Workshop.

This event is held from the 16th of this month to December 21st.

The three students representing Brunei are Muhd Iqbaluddin, a Grade 10 student from the International School Brunei (ISB), Nur Insyirah, and Nur Syahindah.

Adlina Rahayu expressed during an interview that we will share our genius program with ASEAN countries, while at the same time understanding Korea's genius program during the 16th ASEAN+3 Science Genius Teacher Workshop.

“Through exchange, we can learn from Korea's genius program, as they are more advanced in this aspect, and we can share the education system with the Ministry of Education,”

The participation of the Brunei delegation is coordinated by the Ministry of Education through the Centre for Talent Development (EDGE).

This event is organized by ACGS, supported by the Korean Ministry of Science and ICT and the Korea Science and Creativity Foundation (KOSAC).

The theme of the program is “From Prediction to Protection: The Role of Science in Addressing Natural Disasters,” an annual program aimed at bringing together talented science and technology students and educators.
It provides a collaborative platform and showcases skills in an inspiring environment.
