The police have warned the public not to participate in tomorrow's rally at the Palace of Justice supporting former Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib. The rally does not have the landowner's approval and violates the provisions of the Peaceful Assembly Act 2012.

Putrajaya District Police Chief Assistant Commissioner Aidi Sham stated that the police will take severe action against participants of the rally for violating existing laws.

In a statement, he said the police will set up several roadblocks at the entrances to Putrajaya and conduct strict checks on all individuals entering the area.

“This is to ensure that no one brings any weapons, banners, or signs with obscene or seditious words. The public is reminded not to participate in tomorrow's rally.”

According to Bernama's on-site observation, barricades have been set up around the Palace of Justice to prevent any gatherings at the location.

It was reported by the media yesterday that the police have rejected the application to hold the rally supporting Najib at the Palace of Justice on Monday.

The Court of Appeal is scheduled to hear on Monday Najib's appeal against the High Court's additional ruling order.

Najib has sought a judicial review from the High Court to confirm whether the 16th Yang di-Pertuan Agong Sultan Abdullah had issued an additional order approving his house arrest, but this application was rejected by the High Court.
