(Bandar Seri Begawan, 15th) To celebrate Hari Raya, the Chinese and Malay members of the Brunei Muara District Sultan's Birthday Celebration Committee jointly hosted the "Chinese New Year and Hari Raya Joint Celebration Dinner" last night at Katong Likun International Hotel Restaurant. The event was warm and lively.
This friendly dinner gathered numerous distinguished guests, including Member of Parliament Pehin Adanan and spouse, Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Religious Affairs Misli and spouse, Colonel Dai Qilin, Defense Attaché of the Embassy of China in Brunei, as well as Li Jibin, Director of the Political Section of the Embassy of China in Brunei.
The gathering aimed to further strengthen the ties between Chinese and Malay committee members, deepen mutual exchanges and understanding, and demonstrate the harmonious coexistence in a multicultural society.
About a hundred people attended last night, with Chinese and Malay committee members and their families gathering together to enjoy delicious food in a cordial and jubilant atmosphere, filled with festival joy and friendly camaraderie.
