(Bandar Seri Begawan, 2nd) His Majesty of Brunei has approved the convening of the second meeting of the 21st Legislative Council on August 4.
The meeting will be held at the Parliament House.
The upcoming session will focus on questions, ministerial statements, and motions, with the main aim of reviewing and debating national development affairs. Legislative Council members will also have opportunities to raise current issues, proposals, and opinions relevant to the public and national interests.
Speaker Pehin Dato Rahman will preside over the meeting.
Legislative Council members include ex-officio members, appointed members, titled persons, distinguished individuals, and regional representatives. They are expected to deliberate on various policies and issues in a consultative and consensus-based manner, in order to promote the people's interests and the nation's prosperity.
