Miri Police Station Holds Police Day Buddhist Blessing Ceremony

(Miri, 12th) Miri Police Station held a Buddhist blessing ceremony to celebrate the 218th Police Day.

The Miri Police District Headquarters delegation, led by Assistant Superintendent Yu Shaojia, consisted of four senior police officers and three junior police officers. They arrived at Miri Buddhist Layman's Association on the morning of the 10th of this month and were warmly welcomed by Layman in Charge Huang Xinren, committee members, and Buddhist friends.

The event began with a Buddhist blessing ceremony, presided over by the religious mentor of the Layman's Association, Master Shi Weizhi, who shared Buddhist teachings, recited the "Sutta of Auspiciousness" and a peace prayer.

Subsequently, the Layman in Charge delivered a speech and welcomed the officers from the Miri Police Station.

On behalf of the Miri Police Station delegation, Yu Xiaojia expressed gratitude and handed over a donation from the Miri Police Station Police Club.

After a group photo was taken, the officers toured the facilities within the Layman's Association; afterward, everyone enjoyed a vegetarian luncheon together.
