(Kuala Lumpur, 11th) The Immigration Department today refuted rumors that the government will initiate the Reset of Foreign Workers Program 3.0 (RTK 3.0) soon.
The Director-General of the department, Datuk Zakaria, stated in a press release that as of now, no decision has been made regarding the implementation of RTK 3.0.
"The Immigration Department advises the public not to be easily influenced by any parties looking to profit by using the name of the RTK program."
Furthermore, the public can visit the official Immigration Department website and social media accounts to obtain accurate and up-to-date information from the department.
The RTK 2.0 program, introduced on January 27, 2023, officially ended on June 30, 2024.
The Reset of Foreign Workers Program is a special initiative aimed at legalizing illegal immigrants to become legal foreign workers employed by qualified employers, while adhering to strict conditions set by the government.
