Teacher and Son Murdered, Malim Chinese Primary School Students and Staff Observe One Minute of Silence

(Malacca, 13th) The entire faculty and students of Malacca Malim Chinese Primary School observed a minute of silence to mourn the murdered teacher Wen Qiuyan and her eldest son.
This morning (13th), the school posted on Facebook expressing deep sorrow over the sudden news, with the entire faculty and students sharing in the grief.
"Teacher Wen had always been dedicated, loving towards students, and was highly respected among her educational peers. Her passing is a great loss to the school and the education community. Mr. Lin Wenkai was known for his humility and politeness, and his passing is equally lamentable."
The post stated that as a symbol of expressing condolences and respect, the school organized a one-minute silence ceremony this morning, with all faculty and students paying tribute to the deceased.

The school also informed in the post that the funerary hall for Teacher Wen Qiuyan and her eldest son Lin Wenkai is set at Jalor Dong Funeral Parlor in Malacca, with the funeral scheduled for June 15th.
Additionally, the school will arrange psychological counseling to assist students and staff who are dealing with grief and emotional reactions.
On June 12th, around 5 am, a case of 2 deaths and 1 injury occurred in Taman Muara Mutiara, South Bukit Baru, Malacca. The deceased were a 51-year-old Chinese primary school teacher, Wen Qiuyan, and her 21-year-old eldest son Lin Wenkai, while the deceased's 13-year-old younger son was injured. Police confirmed that the suspect was the deceased's 17-year-old second son, who allegedly developed a motive to kill out of dissatisfaction with being frequently criticized by family over academic matters.
