Wearing a Suit and a Bucket on His Head While Taking the MRT – Singapore Man's Bizarre Outfit Leaves Commuters Amused

A man in Singapore recently caught the attention of other commuters on the MRT due to the stark contrast between his "well-dressed appearance below the head and the bizarre look above the neck."

According to photos shared with Stomp by tipster Ravenshaw, the man was seen standing in the carriage wearing a black suit, a white shirt, and a red tie, while his entire head was completely covered by a silver metallic bucket.

The witness recalled spotting the man with this strange outfit on the East-West Line train at about 6:40 p.m. last Friday (8th).

He said that the man boarded at Outram Park station and later alighted at either City Hall or Bugis station. It also appeared that there was a woman accompanying the "bucket man." The tipster speculated that the woman might have been assisting the man, whose vision was likely blocked by the bucket, to move around.

The tipster further speculated that the "bucket man" might have been heading to Suntec City for an anime convention, but it is understood that the convention was only held on weekends.

He noted that he was momentarily stunned when he caught a glimpse of the "bucket man," even wondering if he was hallucinating from exhaustion. He added that while other commuters were also surprised by the scene, no one approached the man.

This is not the first time such bizarre sights have been seen on Singapore's MRT.

Last month, a man was spotted resting on the train with a handkerchief over his eyes, which was amusing enough for another commuter to snap a photo and post it online.

Earlier in March this year, another man was seen meditating on the train with his eyes covered, and there was even a woman who wore her face mask over her eyes, sparking much discussion.
