The Thai Army's 2nd Regional Command reported on the 9th that the ongoing clashes between Thailand and Cambodia have resulted in the deaths of four Thai soldiers, with another 68 Thai soldiers wounded.
The report stated that between 9 AM and 5 PM on the 9th, Cambodian troops launched fierce attacks against Thai military bases and strongholds in multiple areas, using BM-21 rocket launchers 125 times and firing about 5,000 rockets, as well as deploying 33 drones. The main areas targeted by the Cambodian side included the border regions of Ubon Ratchathani, Si Sa Ket, and Surin provinces. The Thai military responded with corresponding firepower.
The 2nd Regional Command of the Thai Army stated that it would make every effort to defend Thailand's sovereignty.
