A tourist in Thailand who was staying at a hotel in Krabi suddenly felt a chilling object crawl over their neck while sleeping in the early hours, only to discover with shock that it was a cobra. Fortunately, the tourist was unharmed.
According to Thai media outlet 'Krabi TV Online', a spine-chilling video went viral on Thai social media on March 28. A Facebook user posted the disturbing footage, which showed a cobra actually crawling onto the bed while the user was staying at a hotel in Krabi. The incident took place around 5am. The tourist suddenly felt a cold object crawl over their neck, and upon waking up, realized to their horror that it was a snake.
Suti, a rescue worker from Ao Nang who was responsible for catching the snake, revealed in an interview that the incident happened at around 5am on March 27. They received a report from hotel staff at a hotel in Ao Nang, who said that a snake had entered a hotel room.

When rescue personnel arrived on the scene, they found that the location was in a hotel room on the second floor and the guest was a Thai tourist. After a thorough search, they finally discovered the cobra under the bed. The cobra was about 70 centimeters long and highly aggressive. The rescuers then captured it, placed it into a sack, and later released it back into the wild.
The tourist recalled that they were sleeping when they suddenly felt a cold object crawl across their neck, and upon waking up found it was a snake, immediately notifying hotel staff. As for how the snake entered the room, it is suspected that it crawled up the stairs and slipped into the room through a wide door gap.
The tourist reminds all hotel staff and guests to thoroughly check their rooms before staying, as incidents of snakes entering hotel rooms do occur, but most often happen in single-story cottages. This is the first time such an incident has been reported on the second floor.
