Royal Police Cross-Country Race Promotes Healthy Lifestyle for Officers

(Bandar Seri Begawan, 7th) The Royal Brunei Police Force recently organized the 2025 cross-country race, aiming to encourage officers to adopt a healthy and active lifestyle.
The Director of the Royal Brunei Police Force, Sulaiman bin, and his wife attended the event as the guests of honor.
The event began at 10:00 am with the recitation of the Surah Al-Fatiha from the Quran, followed by a warm-up session led by the Royal Brunei Police Force's physical trainer.
The race featured two distances: 6 kilometers and 3.5 kilometers, divided into multiple categories including men's and women's open (39 years and below), masters category, and leisure jog group.
A total of 245 participants competed in the 6-kilometer race, while 196 participated in the 3.5-kilometer race. Among them, the men's masters group had the most participants, with 122 entrants. Both races were officially started by the guest of honor, accompanied by the council chairman for sports and Senior Superintendent Amilin.
At the end of the event, an award ceremony was held to present medals to 70 winners. In addition, the "Branch with Most Medals Award" was presented to recognize the team spirit, competitive attitude, and admirable sportsmanship shown by various PPDB branches. Finally, all participants took a group photo with the guest of honor to commemorate the event.
