The Supreme National Security Council of Iran issued a statement on the 8th, announcing the main content of the 10 ceasefire terms submitted to the US side through Pakistan.
These terms include: controlled passage of the Strait of Hormuz coordinated with the Iranian armed forces; an end to all wars against resistance forces in the region; withdrawal of US combat troops from all bases and deployment points in the region; formulation of a secure passage agreement for the Strait of Hormuz to ensure Iran's leading role; full compensation to Iran for losses estimated; removal of all primary and secondary sanctions and the revocation of related International Atomic Energy Agency and UN Security Council resolutions; unfreezing of all Iranian overseas assets and properties; and ultimately, adoption of a binding UN Security Council resolution approving all the above terms.
The statement said that the approval of a Security Council resolution would make all these terms binding international law and would bring significant diplomatic victory to Iran. Pakistan has informed Iran that the US side has accepted the above principles as the basis for negotiations.
