When landing at Muan International Airport in Jeollanam-do, South Korea, Jeju Air flight 7C2216 had an accident where it skidded off the runway and hit a wall. The Malaysian Foreign Ministry indicated that so far, there is no confirmation of any Malaysians on the passenger list.
On Sunday (29th) morning around 11 AM, the Ministry issued a statement noting that our embassy in Seoul is actively collecting information through official channels and closely monitoring the development of the incident.
“So far, there is no confirmation of any Malaysians involved in the incident.”
The Foreign Ministry stated that any Malaysian citizens who require assistance or wish to obtain any related information can contact our embassy in Seoul.
