Taiwan's superstar Jay Chou (known as Jay) is scheduled to hold the "Carnival World Tour 2025 - Hong Kong Stop" concert from July 27 to 29 at the Kai Tak Sports Park in Hong Kong. Tickets for the three shows have already sold out rapidly, making it hard to obtain one. Subsequently, many fans have fallen into scam traps. Recently, there has been a surge of ticket resale posts and suspicious websites online, making it difficult for the public to distinguish between real and fake ones.
In the first five months of this year, Hong Kong's law enforcement agencies have received nearly 100 reports of scams related to Jay's concert tickets, with a total loss of over HK$1.7 million (approximately RM920,000). The organizers remind fans to purchase tickets directly from official channels and refrain from buying from any fake and suspicious websites to avoid financial losses.
