(Miri, 11th) Lutong Petronas station and Lutong Fire and Rescue Department will jointly hold an event during the Ramadan month to distribute 1000 portions of assorted porridge, benefiting the communities surrounding Lutong Town.
This event is expected to take place on March 20, 2025, covering the area under the jurisdiction of the Lutong Fire and Rescue Department.
According to SW04 Task Force Chief Saldina Abdul Salim, overseeing Miri, Bintulu, Limbang, Marudi, and Lawas, the event aims to strengthen community connections and convey care and warmth to the public.
Additionally, the station manager, Adam Salleh, mentioned that this is the first collaboration with the Lutong Fire and Rescue Department, and they hope to continue organizing similar charitable projects in the future to benefit more community residents.
During the event, Lutong Fire and Rescue Department Chief Henry took the opportunity to hand over registration forms for the 2025 8th Fire Department Charity Run event and plans to promote this event across all Petronas stations in the SW04 district, encouraging broad participation from various sectors of society. Besides that, the Lutong Fire and Rescue Department also received 50 decorative bamboo ketupats to enhance the festive atmosphere.
