Yi Mengling's friends came to her defense, saying a call was made to her private number and she thought it was a stalker fan, so she carelessly said it was AI, not expecting it was actually the media calling.
Soon after, netizens spotted Hu Yanbin and Yi Mengling together at the Maldives airport, going through security and entering the lounge together. He also took photos with fans warmly and told them, "Post it to social media, let them know it's not AI."
