Formed by Jerry Yan, Vic Chou, Ken Chu, and Van Ness Wu, 'F4' once took all of Asia by storm. This year, with strong coordination by Mayday and their label 'B'in Music,' the group is making a comeback and planning grand activities for their 25th anniversary. However, Ken Chu reportedly got the boot from the team, perhaps for being too eager to leak news, and 'B'in Music' has confirmed that, apart from Ken Chu, the other three members are collaborating with Ashin (of Mayday) to plan a concert.
An F4 without Ken Chu seems incomplete and leaves some regrets. When asked about being kicked out of the group, Ken Chu’s company stated, “We are not clear on what’s going on,” and regarding whether F4 will be holding a concert, they mysteriously commented, “It’s not convenient to disclose at this time.” In addition, Ken Chu previously revealed on livestream that as a member of F4 he wasn’t actually happy: “I wasn’t really suited for this industry,” denying that it was an issue of member relations, but rather that his personality and the working environment didn’t fit. He further expressed that when 'B'in Music' sent the invitation for the group's reunion, “I decided to quit the chat group. You can’t understand how complicated it is for four people to be signed to four different companies. So I didn’t want to discuss it and left it to the organizers to handle.”
