This year’s event introduced a new category—the half marathon (21km)—in addition to the previously established 10km, 5km, and fun run categories, attracting participants of all ages and fitness levels.
Additionally, Crown Princess Sarah graced the event, adding prestige to the occasion, and took part in the 10km corporate category, while Princess Hafizah also attended and participated in the 5km event, demonstrating their support for local sports development and community welfare.
In the men’s open 21km half marathon, Darwish Anak Romeo claimed the championship, Abdul Malik was runner-up, and Muhammad Zam secured third place.
In the women’s open 21km half marathon, Susan King-To took the top spot, Aidah Shazana came in second, and Ainul Mahmood took third.
