(Bandar Seri Begawan, 14th) The President of the Brunei National Olympic Council (BDNOC), Prince Haji Sufri Bolkiah, visited the venue of the 2nd Asian Olympic Council (OCA) Gender Equality Seminar yesterday.
As an honorary executive committee member of the Asian Olympic Council, Prince Haji Sufri Bolkiah, accompanied by Brunei National Olympic Council members and Youth and Sports Minister Dato Nazmi, toured the seminar location at The Empire Brunei hotel.
After collecting entry passes at the hotel lobby reception, the group visited the banquet hall where the seminar will be held over the next two days. They also inspected the press release room, which will be used tomorrow afternoon to promote the 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games Fun Run event.
The prince stated that this seminar will be the largest Olympic sports event ever in Brunei, with 43 national Olympic committees and nearly 100 delegates participating.
The two-day seminar will feature 19 speakers, including panel members, moderators, and keynote speakers.
Today, attendees also received invitations to an official dinner hosted by the prince at the Brunei Royal Polo and Riding Club.
The theme of the seminar is "Witness Her Brilliance," emphasizing qualities such as "strength, hope, inspiration, future generations, empowerment."
