(Bandar Seri Begawan, 11th) A total of 113 students from 26 schools nationwide will participate in the Robotics Technology and Innovation Competition (ROBIN), which will be held this Saturday at the Insani Center in Seria. This is the second edition of the competition.

The competition is part of the Brunei Young Innovators Program (SELYI), which runs from April to July. The program includes workshops such as Shell NXplorers and CircuiTech Wizard, where participants learn programming, 3D printing, and design thinking to prepare for the competition.
ROBIN 2025 will feature two main categories—Innovation and Robot Sumo. This year, new sub-categories have also been added, including App Development under Innovation and the 500g Robot Sumo Challenge, expanding the competition’s scope.

The SELYI program aims to cultivate future-ready skills among Bruneian youth and inspire their passion for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).
The event is open to the public throughout the day and will feature live competitions, pop-up vendors, exhibitor booths, official merchandise, and activities.
