(Indonesia, 4th) A strong 6.0 magnitude earthquake struck the northern Maluku Sea, Indonesia, at 9:35am this morning (4th).
The Meteorological Department stated in a press release that the earthquake's hypocenter was at a depth of 11 kilometers, with the epicenter located 96 kilometers southeast of Bitung.
However, the earthquake does not pose a tsunami threat to Malaysia.
