(Miri, 2nd) The Malaysian Diabetes Association Miri Branch, in conjunction with Bintang Mega Mall and the Miri Division Health Office, will organize a 'Diabetes Awareness Campaign' starting at 10 a.m. on April 6th (Sunday) at the west court on the first floor of Bintang Mega Mall, Miri. The purpose is to raise public awareness of diabetes and encourage adopting a healthy lifestyle.
The organizers hope that through this event, more people will become aware of the dangers of diabetes and advocate for regular health check-ups and healthy living habits to reduce the risk of the disease. Diabetes not only affects the quality of life of patients but can also lead to serious complications such as cardiovascular disease, kidney failure, and vision damage, making early detection and prevention particularly important.
Miri residents are encouraged to participate actively, paying attention to health and starting with prevention, moving towards a healthier future.
