The Korean girl group BLACKPINK has been focusing on individual careers for the past two years, but the four members have a good private relationship and often support each other. They are set to reunite for a world tour starting in Seoul this July. Ticket prices were announced recently, with the highest reaching 275,000 KRW (about 840 MYR), surpassing GD's Seoul concert at 220,000 KRW (671.7 MYR), which many Korean fans find unacceptable, calling it “outrageously expensive.”

BLACKPINK will reunite for concerts on July 5th and 6th in Seoul at the Goyang Outdoor Stadium. Tickets are about to go on sale, with prices set from the most expensive at 275,000 KRW (about 840 MYR) to the cheapest at 132,000 KRW (about 403 MYR), marking a new high for domestic artist concert prices in Korea.

BLACKPINK's concert tickets are even more expensive than GD’s Seoul concert tickets, sparking heated discussions on Korean websites, with online complaints like “I really want to go, but it’s too expensive,” “This price is crazy,” and “It's too much.” However, some believe, “If you don’t want to go, just don’t buy tickets.”

In fact, BLACKPINK’s concert ticket prices are not only expensive in Seoul. Their Tokyo concert ticket prices were also revealed on the 8th, with the most expensive seats going for 50,000 yen (about 1540 MYR). The rising cost of concert tickets each year has fans complaining that they can't keep up.
