(Kuala Beliat, 2 Jan) Malay A Hainan Association Chairman Kong Fanci expressed his gratitude for the spirit of unity and cooperation among the council members and members in his speech.
“During the recently successfully held 85th-anniversary celebration, the council members displayed unity and friendship, meticulously planned the event, and worked in harmony and cooperation internally to present the best state at the banquet, warmly welcoming guests and fellow townspeople from home and abroad.”
He stated that the fellow townspeople demonstrated a spirit of mutual assistance and promoted national friendship and unity, ensuring the smooth and successful completion of the 85th anniversary. The event was graced by Hainan townspeople from Sarawak and Sabah, adding to its splendor.
He also briefly mentioned the association's attendance at the fellowship celebrations in Kuching, Miri, and Keningau in 2024, making it a fruitful year last year. Apart from awarding eldercare funds at the annual New Year's meeting, they also awarded scholarships to outstanding students.
He emphasized that young people are the future leaders of society and the pillars of the nation, hoping that everyone will study hard and achieve better results next year.
