(Miri, 28th) The repair work on the Luodong coastline is fully underway! To resist the invasion of sea waves and prevent coastal roads from being eroded, the construction team is hastily building a 200-meter long breakwater to enhance coastal protection and ensure local ecological and traffic safety.
This project is undertaken by SHIN YANG Group as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). The Vice Chairman, Datuk Ling Lu Kiong , personally mobilized heavy machinery from Bintulu Province, actively engaging in the operation. Large rocks transported from the interior of Banan are being used to build a sturdy protective dam, effectively mitigating the impact and destruction of massive waves on the coast.

It is reported that if the project progresses smoothly, it is expected to be completed within a week. The Luodong coast has long suffered from erosion by sea waves, causing the coastline to continue to shrink and posing a serious risk of damage to the coastal road. Local residents have been hoping for governmental action for many years but have seen no tangible measures until now.
Now, SHIN YANG Group is proactively taking on social responsibility to promote the construction, fulfilling this urgent need for the local community. This move not only showcases the spirit of the enterprise giving back to society but also receives high praise from the local residents.
