The First 200 Registrants Enjoy Free Cancer Screening

(Kuching, 30th) The National Cancer Society of Malaysia will provide free liver and lung cancer risk screening services to the first 200 participants who register for the ‘2025 Health Carnival’ premium package.
This carnival is organized by the Sarawak Branch of the Girl Guides Association of Malaysia and will be held on August 24th from 6:30 am to 12:00 noon at the Kuching South City Council (MBKS) Hall.
According to a statement from the association, multiple exciting activities will be arranged during the event to add to the carnival’s fun, including a blood donation drive, health screenings, a 3-kilometer health run, Zumba session, lucky draw, and various merchandise booths.
“All participants will also have a chance to win attractive prizes through the lucky draw.”
Prizes include a 65-inch television, Samsung mobile phone, Roxy Beach Resort Sematan accommodation vouchers, electrical appliances, and exclusive gift baskets.
The opening and flag-off ceremony for the ‘2025 Girl Guides Health Carnival’ is expected to be officiated by Sarawak Deputy Premier and Second Minister for Natural Resources & Urban Development cum Minister for International Trade, Industry and Investment, Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan.
Other attendees are expected to include Deputy Minister of Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts Datuk Sebastian Ting and Kuching South City Mayor Datuk Wee Hong Seng.
