Kevin Costner Accused of Sexual Harassment: Actor Accused of Forcing a Violent Skirt-Lifting Scene

Famous American actor, producer, and director Kevin Costner has been recently sued for sexual harassment by a female stunt actor he directed in "Horizon: An American Saga." She accuses him of forcing her to film an unscripted sexual assault scene without properly informing her, obtaining consent, and lacking standard safety measures.

According to foreign media reports, the stunt actor is the main double for actress Ella Hunt, who portrays the character "Juliet" in the "Horizon" film. According to her filed lawsuit, Kevin Costner spontaneously added a scene where Juliet is assaulted during filming. Ella Hunt refused to perform this scene, so the crew called in a stunt double without prior notification of the scene's content, without her consent, and without an intimacy coordinator present.

The lawsuit states that the male actor, under the director's instructions, had to "straddle her, pin her down, and violently lift her skirt." Moreover, the set was not controlled, with the entire crew witnessing the scene, severely lacking respect for the actor's privacy and dignity. She claims this experience left her with psychological trauma, prompting her to sue. The compensation amount demanded is undisclosed, and she also requests a jury trial.
