Taiwanese boy band "Energy" reunites and returns to the music scene, with a full schedule of activities. They have released a new album, started promotions, and are set to hold five consecutive concerts titled "Just Around the Corner" starting in July. Recently, they performed at eight year-end parties over nine days. Milk expresses gratitude for the support Energy's comeback has received, admitting, "We wouldn't have our current success without everyone's support." They mentioned their upcoming concert in Malaysia on April 5, highlighting that it will be their first time performing in Malaysia as a full five-member group. They are eager and hope fans will attend to meet them!

Previously crowned as the "most killer singing and dancing boy band", Energy consists of Milk, Ah Di, Shu Wei, Kun Da, and Toro. They skyrocketed to fame upon debut in 2002 but split in 2003 due to contract disagreements. Last year, the five made a comeback to the music scene after a 20-year hiatus. Under "Believe Music", they released a new album with a lead single "Friday Night" that features a dance move called "16 Squats", which quickly sparked discussion among fans and gained external attention for imitation. This challenging series of 16 continuous squat jumps proves their enduring dance skills and stamina.

During an interview with Malaysian media, Energy expressed their excitement about performing the "Just Around the Corner" concert in Malaysia on April 5. They noted it has been over 20 years since all five members visited the country. Milk said, "It's been a long time since we've been to Malaysia. The fans are very enthusiastic, and the food is amazing. I remember we held a concert there in 2005, but it was only with four members, which was a small regret. Now it's 2025, and we're returning to Malaysia after exactly 20 years, so we're really excited and will strive to recreate an authentic performance." Kun Da calls on Malaysian fans by saying, "We hope everyone can come meet us at our concert on April 5th." Toro adds, "Appreciate every opportunity, as there might be fewer opportunities to watch us," while Milk emphasizes they treat every performance as their last, giving their all, "We cherish every performance and every audience."
Energy returns to Malaysia after 20 years, performing as a full group for the first time, hoping fans will come together at the event.
As Energy reorganized and reunited for a year, when asked about their biggest experience, Toro mentioned that he hadn't styled his hair or signed with the name "Toro" for over a decade but now had to do hair styling and learn to sign "Toro" again. Kun Da shared that it had been a joyful reunion for a year, "Initially, when we reunited, we thought we would go as far as we could, and now it feels like the beginning of our debut, making us want to work harder to bring more new things to everyone. Entering the second year of reorganization, I believe we are more confident and have more Energy to share with everyone."

Now, Energy is Different from Before

Milk admitted that re-visiting past places, like airports, and being greeted by many fans was heartwarming, "We appreciate the love from fans for our comeback." Shu Wei mentioned he never expected such a year to occur at this stage of his life, "It feels incredible, like a dream." Ah Di expressed a sense of familiarity mixed with newness, "Sometimes it feels like we're a new group because the previous Energy ended too quickly, just over a year before someone left." Shu Wei added, "Energy wasn't that united before." Ah Di continued, "Now, we have all matured with more coherent ideas and better communication, making us a more mature boy band compared to our past as a young boy group."

As for whether this "mature boy band" has any physical challenges, Shu Wei admitted there is a difference in stamina, but they strive to present what people want to see. "Even Milk's windmill move has been slowly restored this year." Milk noted, "Perhaps the emotion felt by those watching our comeback is that we try our best to return to everyone's impression of Energy, and hope that even those unfamiliar with us see us as a mature new boy band."

Ah Di said they don't have stamina problems, "If Milk can pull off the windmill, there's no issue." Kun Da expressed pride in Energy's stamina, "It's the year-end party season, and we've "squatted" for a week, but we can still hold up, so stamina isn't a big issue." Shu Wei revealed they performed at eight year-end parties over nine straight days, Ah Di replied who revealed they slept barely over an hour before flying to Singapore to be "Mayday's" concert guests, flew back to Taiwan overnight, and resumed year-end shows, and still had to "squat." Milk expressed deep gratitude for everyone's support for Energy, saying, "We wouldn't have what we have now without your support."
Returning after 20 years, Energy transforms from fresh-faced to mature men; except for Toro, all other members are married.
When discussing the most significant changes observed in members after reuniting, Toro noted that Shu Wei laughs more; Shu Wei commented that Toro, once serious and concerned about his image, is now more relaxed, with others joking that even his stomach is more relaxed. Milk teased by saying, "No more pretenses, but he has little dragon soup buns now," and Kun Da jested, "He used to care about his image, but now it's about his belly!" Toro quipped, "I've been holding my stomach in for so long, it's tiring because I ate too much just now, and my pants are tight." Milk shared that Ah Di, who previously wasn't expressive, has become much more mature. Kun Da remarked, "After all, he's a father of three." Meanwhile, Milk is found to be quite knowledgeable about finances despite being known for dance. He covers topics like investment and stocks, quite a different side from the Milk they used to know.

Ah Di observed significant changes in everyone; Kun Da, who entered the variety show realm, is now quick-witted and humorous; Milk, previously meticulous and detail-oriented, is now more relaxed after becoming a father; Shu Wei is more at ease and open to letting his guard down. As for himself, previously introverted and not talkative, he learned to communicate over the past decade through various experiences and growth, pushing himself to engage with others. The four elder members smiled appreciatively as the "youngest" concluded, "Ah Di can summarize everything now."
