Chinese Embassy Holds Reappointment Ceremony for Consular Assistance Volunteers

(Bandar Seri Begawan, 16th Jan) The Chinese Embassy in Brunei recently held a reappointment ceremony for consular assistance volunteers. Ambassador Xiao Jianguo met with the volunteers and presented them with certificates and New Year greeting packages.

Ambassador Xiao thanked the volunteers for their active cooperation with the embassy in carrying out consular protection and assistance work. He emphasized that doing consular protection and assistance work with care and dedication is an important manifestation of the embassy's commitment to diplomacy serving the people. He hopes that the volunteers will continue to leverage their advantages, support the embassy's work as always, and jointly safeguard the safety and legitimate rights and interests of Chinese citizens in Brunei.

The volunteers shared their experiences and insights from participating in consular protection and assistance work. They stated that being a volunteer is both an honor and a responsibility, and they will live up to their commitments by actively assisting the embassy in carrying out consular protection and assistance work, serving personnel exchanges between the two countries.
