(Bandar Seri Begawan, 23rd) Bank Islam Brunei Darussalam (BIBD) has announced the launch of electronic top-up services for public water and electricity bills under the Unified Smart Metering System (USMS). Customers can directly top up their utility bills anytime, anywhere via BIBD NEXGEN Wallet, BIBD Online, BIBD BizNet Mobile, and online platforms.
This upgrade allows customers to easily manage household and business utility needs with just a few taps, ensuring uninterrupted service and reducing the hassle of visiting counters or third-party agents.
As the first bank in Brunei to support USMS top-ups on both retail and business digital channels, BIBD’s initiative marks an important step in providing innovative and convenient solutions. It also echoes the goals of the “2025 Digital Economy Masterplan” to further integrate technology into daily life.
