BLACKPINK member Jennie is making a grand move! On the 3rd, it was reported that she would be relocating the office of her personally founded company, “ODD ATELIER,” from Itaewon in Yongsan District to Hannam-dong in the same district. The new building is situated in an extremely prime location, with a monthly rent as high as 80 million KRW (approximately 240,000 MYR), and the overall market value reaching 45 billion KRW (about 130 million MYR).
Jennie established her personal agency, “ODD ATELIER,” in 2023, and currently she is the only artist under the label. At that time, the office was located in a standalone residence in Itaewon, Yongsan. Now, reports say the company will move to a newly completed, small building in Hannam-dong within the same district. According to Korean media, the reason for the move is that the current office's lease in Itaewon expires in October, and the property, originally approved for use as an art gallery, was instead used as an office, sparking controversy over violation of building regulations. The Yongsan District Office has already issued an administrative penalty to the owner.
Meanwhile, Jennie is currently touring with BLACKPINK’s latest world tour “Deadline.” This is their first full-group tour in two years, following “BORN PINK,” which drew 1.8 million attendees and broke the record for K-pop girl groups. BLACKPINK is also expected to return with a new album in November, with their schedules packed.
