(Bandar Seri Begawan, 31st) The Royal Brunei Police Force, in conjunction with multiple enforcement units, conducted a joint surprise road check operation at Jalan Bukit Barun, Temburong District. In total, 205 vehicles were inspected, and fines were issued to 13 cars that violated regulations.
These violations included expired road taxes, illegal installation of louvered window tints, driving unsafe vehicles, and using worn tires. In addition, Customs enforcement officers seized a case of possession of contraband cigarettes during the operation, and the Narcotics Control Bureau also uncovered a drug abuse case.
This joint enforcement operation was led by the Temburong Police Traffic Unit, with the participation of personnel from the Lamunin Police Station, Royal Police Force, Customs Department, Land Transport Department, and Narcotics Control Bureau.
