Veteran actress Lai Suen, known for her role as 'Ah Ga' in the classic TVB drama 'A Kindred Spirit,' passed away on August 28 at the age of 93. On the 23rd, her family held a wake at the Kowloon Funeral Parlour. The original plan was to hold the funeral the following day, but due to concerns about the typhoon, the cremation ceremony was instead conducted on the morning of the same day, followed by a memorial service in the afternoon.
The memorial service followed a Christian ceremony. In the center of the hall was a smiling portrait of Lai Suen, with a plaque above reading 'Rest in the Lord.' In front were floral tributes from her husband Ko Wang and their three daughters. Floral tributes were also sent by industry friends, including Louis Koo, Gordon Lam, Cecilia Cheung, Dominic Lam, Evergreen Mak, Frankie Lam and his wife Kenix Kwok, Angie Chiu, as well as the 15th graduating class of the TVB Artiste Training Academy.
