(Kuching, 13th) Deputy Minister of Education, Innovation, and Talent Development, Dato Anwar Rafi, expressed high praise for the extraordinary commitment shown by the Sarawak State Education Department (JPNS) team of outstanding teachers in publishing special module teaching materials for Form 3, Form 4, and Form 5 students.
These specially designed module teaching materials aim to support the learning process of secondary school students, including students in the Sarawak Express Education Program (SEEP) classes.
The module content covers core subjects such as Mathematics, Science, History, Advanced Mathematics, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, and English.
According to Anwar Rafi, this initiative is part of the Sarawak state government’s effort to provide free quality education, specifically supporting SEEP students who attend free tutoring courses.
“We believe that quality education should be open to all students, regardless of their background. Through these modules, students can review in a more organized manner and prepare for exams. This reflects the Sarawak government’s steadfast commitment to enhancing the education levels of Sarawak students,” he stated in an official Facebook statement yesterday.
He also expressed his belief that the publication of these modules will become a catalyst for improving students’ academic performance and provide more motivation for their success.
“This benevolent act would not have been possible without the dedication and expertise of teachers. We thank them for the time and effort they have dedicated to the future of our younger generation,” the statement further mentioned.
He also hopes that more similar collaborations can continue in the future to ensure that Sarawak’s education system consistently progresses and is inclusive.
