Malaysian powerhouse singer Chen Ying'en made a stunning impression at the Malaysia stop of 'Asian New Voices', seizing the King title with a show-stopping performance of 'Mamma Knows Best', outshining 'Singapore Stop King' Wang Honghao! This 24-year-old rising star from Penang, who just graduated from Nanjing University of the Arts in China on June 15, not only displayed textbook-level vocal techniques, but also won unanimous praise from the mentor panel and judges alike.

In the first round, Chen chose the song 'Incubation Period', winning easily with her solid emotional delivery and commanding stage presence.
