(Bandar Seri Begawan, 15th) The Royal Brunei Police Force C1 Branch Cross-Country Championship was recently held at the Batu Apoi Sports Complex in Batu Apoi Village, Temburong District.
This championship was divided into three categories: Men's 5km Veteran Group, Men's 10km Open Group, and Men's Team Group.
A total of three teams participated, namely the Police Reserve Unit C Company (Forest Police), Marine Police, and Temburong Police District. The Marine Police Commander and Chairman of the C1 Branch Welfare and Sports Bureau, Superintendent Kasnor, attended as the guest of honor. Officials from the C1 Branch Welfare and Sports Bureau also attended the event.
During the championship, the guest of honor also joined the participants in aerobic exercises and a 1.5km walk. In the team event, Police Reserve Unit C Company (Forest Police) won the overall championship and successfully took home the 2026 C1 Branch Cross-Country Championship trophy. In the Men's 10km Open Group, Andy (Forest Police) took first place, 6719 Shamsul Ariffie (Forest Police) took second place, and 5932 Ali (Marine Corps) took third place. In the Men's 5km Veteran Group, Corporal 5975 Alexander Chung Kwei Ming (Forest Police) took first place, 5843 Nasruddin (Forest Police) took second, and 6681 Bohari (Forest Police) took third.
The competition was organized by the C1 Branch 2025-2026 Welfare and Sports Committee members. The organization aims to strengthen the relationship between C1 Branch officers and junior members and to promote a healthy lifestyle through active participation in sports activities.
