Three Bruneian Women Entrepreneurs Head to Nanning to Participate in China-ASEAN Vocational Education Training

(Bandar Seri Begawan, 6th) Three women entrepreneurs from the Brunei Darussalam National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DPPMB) set off on Sunday to Nanning, Guangxi, China, to participate in the China-ASEAN Vocational Education and Training Instructors Training Program.
The first vice president of the chamber, Abdul Samad, and the Chinese representative in Brunei, Miss Sky, saw them off at Brunei International Airport.
The program, organized by Guangxi Economic & Trade Vocational Institute (GXETVI), will be held from July 5 to 16, 2025, at the GXETVI Training Center in Nanning and will feature three international instructor training classes.
The three entrepreneurs, namely Zuweiria, Astina, and Faridah, will each participate in specialized training programs tailored to their respective industries.
Zuweiria, who is engaged in the fashion and design sector, will participate in the "One Dress Workshop—Smart Garment & Digital Fashion". This workshop will cover topics such as Industry 4.0 immersive experience, intelligent pattern-making systems, AI-driven tailoring, digital twin factory simulation, sustainable fashion design, industry field visits, and cultural heritage workshops.
Astina, who focuses on digital marketing, e-commerce, and retail, will take part in the "E-commerce Valley—Live Streaming & Cross-border Marketing" program. Training content includes live streaming strategies, TikTok marketing, cross-border trade tools, AI integration in online business, as well as visits to Fortune 500 tech hubs.
Meanwhile, Faridah, who is active in the catering industry and culinary education, will participate in the "Yinying School—Chinese Culinary Arts" program. Her program will focus on the art of traditional Chinese dough and pastry, standardized culinary training systems, and a cultural immersion into Guangxi's rich culinary heritage.
