(Miri, 1st) Wu Foseng, President of the Nine Emperor Gods, Luohan, Three Sovereigns and Dragon Lord of Toumu Palace at Hailong Temple, Miri, stated that he will continue to lead the team in serving the community, promoting the culture of the Nine Emperor Gods, and driving the sustainable development of temple affairs.
Wu Foseng pointed out that, coinciding with the twelfth day of the first lunar month of the Year of the Fire Horse, he first extended New Year’s greetings to all guests and devotees present, wishing everyone a happy new year, good fortune in the Year of the Horse, and all the best.
He expressed that he feels deeply honored to be reappointed as the chairman of Hailong Temple, and thanked the board members and devotees for their trust, giving him the opportunity to continue leading the team in contributing to society and actively promoting the faith and culture of the Nine Emperor Gods.
In his address, he also gave special praise to the Hailong Temple Youth Group for their performance over the past year, noting that many socially beneficial activities were planned and organized by the Youth Group, with coordination from the master and the board team to accomplish them together. He emphasized that the success of any event is not the result of individual efforts, but relies on the team’s strong rapport and cooperative spirit.
He said that the Youth Group has already held meetings to plan this year’s activities, and he hopes the team will continue to contribute to the community and promote temple development in the future.
At the same time, Wu Foseng expressed his gratitude to all parties who have long cared for and supported the development of Hailong Temple, highlighting that it is through everyone’s dedication and support that the temple has achieved today’s growth and accomplishments.
In addition, he also thanked the Sarawak government and people’s representatives for their long-term concern and funding support, noting that the government’s establishment of the Unit For Other Religions (UNIFOR) in Sarawak has greatly assisted temple beautification and maintenance projects, enabling various construction efforts at Hailong Temple to progress smoothly.
