Miri Indigenous Chamber Holds Iftar Banquet to Strengthen Strategic Networks and Boost Local Businesses

(Miri, 3rd) The Sarawak Bumiputera Chamber of Commerce Miri Branch (DUBS) organized an iftar banquet as a platform to strengthen strategic networks and promote local business development, enhancing the competitiveness of indigenous entrepreneurs through multi-faceted cooperation.

This event was held yesterday at the Miri FORUM Building, bringing together representatives from government agencies, financial institutions, media partners, and the entrepreneur community to jointly explore opportunities for collaboration and business growth.

Miri Mayor and Pujut State Assemblywoman Yew Xiao Shan stated that such inclusive initiatives not only promote unity in a multi-ethnic society but also help maintain local community and economic stability.

On the other hand, Sarawak Bumiputera Chamber of Commerce Miri Branch Chairman Mohamad Hafee pointed out that choosing to hold the event at a venue owned by a member helps raise the visibility of local products and services, while also strengthening the indigenous business ecosystem.

He added that similar initiatives will continue to be held at different locations in the future to ensure that economic achievements can benefit a wider group and development gains can be shared by all.
