The world’s largest electronics contract manufacturer, Foxconn, will deploy humanoid robots in its Houston factory to produce artificial intelligence (AI) servers for American chip giant Nvidia.

According to reports from CaiLianShe and other international media released on the 29th, Nvidia's major AI server supplier, Taiwanese electronics giant Foxconn, has announced plans to employ humanoid robots specifically for the production of Nvidia AI servers.

Foxconn and Nvidia have a long-term strategic partnership. In a statement on Tuesday, Foxconn said that the above-mentioned factory will also become one of the first to deploy humanoid robots powered by Nvidia’s Isaac GR00T N model on its production line. Foxconn and Nvidia are committed to building a world-leading, benchmark-level AI smart factory.

Isaac GR00T N is an open-source foundational model launched by Nvidia for humanoid robots, aimed at accelerating the development of humanoid robotics.

The company will also continue to expand AI server production capacity in Texas, Wisconsin, and California to meet growing demand.

Foxconn Chairman Young Liu said that the company is introducing the most advanced AI data center solutions to the United States, helping core customers maintain a competitive edge in the AI race.
