According to China's National Energy Administration on Saturday (May 2), statistics and analysis conducted on 57,600 highway charging facilities (piles) included in the national charging facility monitoring service platform showed that from 0:00 to 24:00 on May 1, the total charging volume of new energy vehicles on Chinese highways reached 23.0339 million kilowatt-hours, a year-on-year increase of 55.6%. The number of charging services exceeded 946,300 times, setting a new historical record.
