bRecently, the private residence of Jungkook, the youngest member of South Korea's mega-popular group BTS, was targeted by a Chinese sasaeng fan who attempted to break in. The individual repeatedly pressed the door code at the entrance, causing great distress to Jungkook. On June 30, the group's agency "BIGHIT MUSIC" issued a statement declaring that they would actively cooperate with the police investigation and emphasized that they would "take strong legal action" against any infringement of artists' rights to put a stop to such misconduct.

The incident occurred at 11:20 p.m. on June 11, when a Chinese female fan in her 30s tried to break into Jungkook's private residence in Seoul's Yongsan District. Lacking the code, the sasaeng repeatedly attempted to enter various combinations and was immediately apprehended on the spot by police for her actions. "BIGHIT MUSIC" issued a firm response, stating that the company will always immediately report to the police and apply for restraining orders in response to the recurring stalking incidents targeting BTS members, and urged, "Any behavior threatening the privacy and safety of our artists will not be tolerated, and we will take the most severe measures in response."

Coincidentally, another Korean group, ENHYPEN, under the agency "BELIFT LAB," also released a statement on the same day, claiming their dormitory had been illegally entered and filmed; the intruder was arrested on the spot by the police. The company is currently handling a large number of online posts selling illegally obtained or forged personal information, and has reported accounts selling such private info about artists online to Chinese authorities. The agency emphasized that regardless of the perpetrator's nationality, they will respond strongly.
