Zelensky: 3 Priorities to End the Russia-Ukraine Conflict

Ukrainian President Zelensky stated on social media on the 7th that there are three priorities to end the Russia-Ukraine conflict: Russia agreeing to a ceasefire, establishing a leaders' meeting mechanism, and ensuring Ukraine's long-term security guarantees.

He said it is important to discuss the key details of achieving peace, and the priorities are "very clear." First, the Russian side must agree to a ceasefire; second, a mechanism for meetings between leaders should be established to work towards achieving truly lasting peace; third, regarding Ukraine's long-term security guarantees, "it is only possible to realize this with joint participation from the United States and Europe."

He said that on the 6th, he held talks with U.S. President Trump and European leaders, as well as conversations with NATO Secretary General Rutte and Finnish President Stubb. Next, he will hold talks with German Chancellor Merz, and will maintain contact with the French and Italian sides.

He pointed out that he has already instructed the Ukrainian team to communicate with partner countries at the national security adviser level.
