On the evening of the 23rd, Israeli Defense Minister Katz stated that Israel is ready to resume military operations against Iran and is waiting for the green light from the United States.
In a video statement released that day, he said: “Israel is prepared to go to war with Iran again. The Israel Defense Forces are ready for both defense and offensive actions, and targets have already been identified.”
Katz pointed out that Israel is waiting for the U.S. to give the go-ahead in order to completely eliminate the Iranian regime, and the IDF is ready to carry out devastating strikes on Iran’s most vulnerable areas.
In addition, Israel's Channel 12 TV reported that Katz chaired a special situational assessment meeting at IDF headquarters that day, attended by senior IDF officers and defense officials. After the meeting, Katz noted that the IDF is fully prepared and can resume military action against Iran at any moment. The operational plan includes strikes against potential successors to Iran’s supreme leadership, vital Iranian energy and power facilities, and key economic infrastructure, aiming to push Iran back into the dark Stone Age.
